i think they are just partial. If that is the case why does the fq400 have them?

here you go check out this from the engineers at mitsu!!!
notice fig. 3 on page 2 see how the rear spoiler creates a vortex on both sides...how much of a vortex do you really need?

yes but the stock ones dont address the air moving in the middle. Watch the video i posted again. the one that goes across the whole back addresses the whole bit of air flow.

I don't think that I'm the only one with this question but what exactly is the vortex wanted for? Seems like it would create more drag which you don't want

Taken from the other site.

The VG reduces turbulence in the area over the trunk and brings down a stable airflow past the wing to increase downforce. But it has the added benefit of reducing your drag coefficient a bit. And if you can add the benefit of a better drag coefficient, then why not. 1.6% may not seem like much and you may not see a difference in daily driving but I guarantee it will help. Plus I believe that the faster you go ,the more significant will be the change

ha interesting it actually reduces drag. I guess the faster you go the more down forces that you want so it really does make sense.

i think it gives a better spread of air so you are having more/constant/steady airflow on the spoiler. my only concern is if it will mess up the stock vg's. If thats the case i dont want it because the wing is mated to the roof vg's. Now if they both could work in harmony i would be uber happy.
